I’ve taken my Hyperlite pack on a few weekend trips now, and I’ll give it credit: even when I crammed it full of food, water, and the usual too-much gear, it stayed steady on the trail. It doesn’t wobble around much, even on rougher sections, which was nicer than I expected. The shoulder straps did take a bit of messing with, and it feels kind of stiff at first, but once I got it adjusted, it carried well enough. It’s not exactly a cloud on your back, but for keeping the weight close and stable, it does a solid job.

I really thought this would pack down smaller, especially for the price. It’s lightweight, which is nice, but getting it compressed is more annoying than I expected. I bought it hoping it would make packing easier, but it ended up being one more thing to wrestle with and stress about when trying to fit everything in my bag. It’s not awful, but it definitely doesn’t work as well for my setup as I’d hoped.

I really wanted to like this gear because it’s insanely light, but once I got it out on the trail it felt kind of flimsy. The timing was bad too since I took it on a trip where I really needed to trust my setup, and instead I spent the whole time second-guessing it. For the price, I expected it to feel a lot more solid

I thought I’d get a lot more use out of this, but so far it really only feels decent for one kind of hiking setup, and when I tried using it for biking or travel it just felt awkward and a little annoying, especially for the price I was hoping it would be more flexible

I took this pack out on a rainy weekend trip it held up great. It rained for hours, but my clothes and quilt were still totally dry when I unpacked. The outside did get muddy quick, but that’s kind of expected in those conditions. Compared to my old pack, this one just felt more... anyway, solid gear overall.

The gear itself does the job, so no real complaints there. But cleaning it after a trip is more of a hassle than I expected. You can get the dirt off if you really scrub at it, but some stains still hang around no matter what. It’s not awful, I just wish it was more of a quick wipe-down instead of feeling like another chore.

I mostly ended up checking out Hyperlite Mountain Gear just because, you know, the look of the gear caught my eye, it’s really clean. The white and black packs have this simple, kind of minimal style that stands out without feeling too loud or flashy. The photos on the site are helpful too, like, you can actually see the little details clearly. I took off one star because, I mean, the color options feel a bit limited in some cases, but overall, yeah, the gear looks great.

The packs themselves are good, but wow, the accessory fit is kind of annoying. My old straps didn’t fit right at all, which feels like something that should be simple. I don’t want to have to guess what works or buy extra stuff just to make it usable.

I’ve had my pack for a few weeks now, and I’m impressed. The material feels really durable without being bulky or heavy, which I noticed right away. I’ve already taken it out in some rain and scraped it against a few rocks on the trail, and it still looks and feels totally fine. No fraying, no soaking through, no issues at all.

To be fair, the material seemed okay at first, but the sizing felt really off for me. The straps ended up digging in quickly, so it just wasn't comfortable to wear.

I really did want to like this, so it’s not like I’m just trying to be picky. But the fabric felt way too stiff and kind of crinkly, and it made noise pretty much every time I moved. For the price, I expected it to feel a lot better. Maybe it works for someone else, but for me, it was disappointing.

I was just trying to place my order, but the checkout kept dragging on way longer than it should have. The site was lagging, and my cart kept updating in a weird way, so I kind of felt trapped in the process with no easy way to just finish and move on. I did eventually get the order through, but it definitely wasn’t a smooth experience.

The gear itself looks nice, which is part of why I bought it, but now I’m kind of wishing I’d looked into the company more first. For the price, I expected it to be easy to find clear info about how it’s made, like factory conditions, worker pay, and where materials come from. Maybe that info exists somewhere, but I couldn’t find it without digging, and that doesn’t feel great. it’s made me regret spending the money a bit and I’m not sure I’d buy from them again...

I really like the bag overall, but mine had a seam problem and getting help through the warranty process was frustrating. The replies took longer than they should have, and the return instructions were confusing enough that it felt like I had to figure it out on my own. I get that issues happen, but a company should stand behind its products and make things right without making customers chase them down. I’d still use the gear, but the support experience definitely left a bad impression.

I ordered this weeks ago and it still hasn’t shown up, which is super frustrating. I reached out to support, but they just gave me vague answers and didn’t really help much. Kinda annoying, ngl.

Gear is fine overall, no real complaints there. But had to wait forever for customer service to get back to me, and when they finally did, didn’t really answer my question. Had to chase them twice, which was frustrating.

I’ve been able to fit plenty of gear in this pack, so the overall space is definitely there. The issue I ran into after using it a bit is the lack of pockets. Once I had smaller items mixed in with everything else, it got annoying quickly trying to keep things organized or find what I needed.
